Chiefs QB Matt Cassel (illness) missed practice again Thursday. Cassel missed practice Wednesday to undergo an appendectomy Wednesday morning. Cassel is expected to "return to work this week," and while he hasn't been ruled out for week 14, it seems unlikely he will suit up. Brodie Croyle will get the start against the Chargers if Cassel can't go. The Chiefs have indicated there's a 50% chance of Cassel suiting up. In 9 games with Croyle starting, Dwayne Bowe has 43 receptions, 511 yards & 4TDs.
