Lions quarterback Drew Stanton suffered a Grade 3 separation of the AC joint in his left (non-throwing) shoulder in the second quarter of Sunday's 23-20 overtime victory over the Buccaneers, Lions coach Jim Schwartz acknowledged Monday.
Stanton, a former Michigan State Spartan in the final year of his rookie contract, played through the pain of the injury during the second half.

He'll likely try to battle through the injury this week in order to be ready to play Sunday at Miami. It would be his fifth career NFL start. He's 2-2 in his previous four starts.
