He owns a 1,500-acre ranch in North Carolina and says some of his happiest days are spent on horseback there.

But as he nears the end of his 16th NFL season, which will occur Sunday in Indianapolis, Tennessee Titans quarterback Kerry Collins doesn't sound like a guy who's ready to ride off into the sunset.

The 38-year-old Collins, who's scheduled to make his seventh start of the season, believes he still has what it takes to be an effective NFL quarterback, so it's no surprise that he's not planning any retirement parties.

"I haven't ruled anything out yet. Now is not the time to decide," Collins said. "I'll get away from it a little bit after next week and I'll just kind of see where things are at, and see what opportunities come down the road. I still feel like I've got some good football left in me."
