Dolphins general manager Jeff Ireland reiterated on Thursday his desire to add a quarterback who could push Chad Henne for the starting job. Ireland said he's open to acquiring one through either free agency or a trade, and he indicated he'd prefer a quarterback with some years behind him.

"You need someone savvy and experienced, for sure," he said.
