Randy Moss is looking forward to entering the NFL free-agent market whenever it opens, according to his agent, Joel Segal, who said Wednesday the wide receiver is primed to return to "the old Randy Moss."
Moss bounced from the Patriots last season to the Minnesota Vikings, then the Tennessee Titans, but he starred in New England in the three previous years and has been working out relentlessly, according to Segal, who said his client is in "freakish shape."
"Randy has been working out, two-a-days, all spring and summer in West Virginia," Segal said. "He is determined, motivated and quite frankly has a huge chip on his shoulder. Whatever team ends up getting Randy, they're going to know they're getting the old Randy Moss. He's not just coming in to be on the team, he's going to be Randy Moss -- a difference maker."
Take everything an agent says with several grains of salt. Despite his disappearing act in the 2nd half of last season, if Moss can land in a good situation and is motivated, he can certainly still be a productive fantasy receiver.
