Saints beat writer Jeff Duncan reports that the team can save $12 million in cap space by releasing Reggie Bush once the lockout is lifted.

Fantasy Impact:

With the addition of Mark Ingram, the writing is on the wall for Bush. The Saints already signed Pierre Thomas to a four-year deal, so it is unlikely that they will invest significant cap space in another RB. Bush could still be a factor in PPR leagues if he lands in the right spot.
