Kyle Orton on the Trading Block

To begin the business of Day One of the NFL's 2011 season, the Broncos will place quarterback Kyle Orton on the trading block.

With the NFL trading period opening at 8 a.m. today, Orton's days as the Broncos' starting QB may be down to hours. The Broncos will be entertaining offers for Orton, according to two NFL sources

Fantasy Impact:

The Dolphins are rumored to have Orton as their #1 QB target. Tim Tebow gains a lot of fantasy football stability with the exit of Orton, and has legitimate top 10 upside as a 16 game starter because of his legs. Don't expect Brady Quinn to challenge Tebow for the starting job.

This is definitely a situation to keep an eye on, as Johnson would have a huge workload if Swift were to miss Week 12. Homer has three rush attempts and zero targets on the year.
