Steelers wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders will miss at least the next three weeks, including the first two preseason games, after undergoing a minor surgical procedure on his left foot Monday to help expedite healing of the foot that he had surgery on in April.
WR Antonio Brown plans to take full advantage of the extra reps with Emmanuel Sanders sidelined, and that started during yesterday's practice.
Brown ran with the first team Tuesday and made a couple of acrobatic touchdown catches during team drills and 7-on-7.
We liked Sanders as a break-out candidate this season, but the lingering foot issues are a concern. Brown will see increased snaps as long as Sanders continues to be less than 100%.
