The Chiefs have agreed to contract terms with fullback Le'Ron McClain.
The 260-pound McClain, who played all four of his NFL seasons with Baltimore, is more than a blocker. A four-year starter for the Ravens, McClain rushed for a career high 902 yards in 2008, but his chances to carry the ball diminished the past two seasons.
He also has the ability to catch the ball out of the backfield. He caught 21 passes in each of the past two seasons.
Fantasy Impact:
McClain is a good, hard runner and could be the thunder to Jamaal Charles's lightning. This signing probably hurts the value of Thomas Jones the most, but Charles could also see fewer goal line carries.
