Lions RB Jahvid Best is completely healthy after being limited for most of last season with turf toe injuries.
"I think there's a world of difference for a rookie, regardless of Jahvid's toe - or toes,'' Linehan said. "It's so much different to go from your rookie year to your second year, especially as a runner. You're just learning the schemes and the timing and all of that. Once he got in to the season, he wasn't really able to practice much. Every rep he's taking now - at 100 percent healthy - he's taking it to another level.''
It's great to hear that Best is completely healthy, but will he stay healthy? With Mikel LeShoure out for the season, Best gets a sizable bump, but he does not come without risk.
