Indianapolis Colts rookie tackle Anthony Castonzo was one of the last of many new Indianapolis Colts to get on the field in Saturday night's 33-10 preseason loss to St. Louis at the Edward Jones Dome.
The first-round pick out of Boston College, expected to be the future at left offensive tackle, didn't enter until early in the second quarter. He held his own, and at times did better than that.
On his second play, he stuffed a Rams defensive lineman inside and quickly adjusted to shove an outside pass rusher wide. It bought time for backup quarterback Dan Orlovsky to complete a 9-yard pass to rookie tight end Mike McNeill.
Hopefully Castonzo will be the ideal blind side protector for Peyton Manning.
