Titans Receiver Kenny Britt took part in team drills Monday for the first time in training camp and looked completely recovered from his most recent hamstring injury.
Britt, however, said that’s not the case.
“I am still holding back. I know that it is not 100 percent even though I am running,” he said. “Getting in and out of my breaks and when I am running I still feel it, and in the back of my mind I can’t just go out there and run full speed and set myself back and then be out for three more weeks. That would be bad.”
Britt, who sat out the preseason opener against the Vikings, made several nice catches Monday.
The Titans say Britt could play Saturday at St. Louis. Britt, who has been bothered by hamstring injuries on and off for the past two seasons, said he just hopes to be ready for the regular-season opener Sept. 11 at Jacksonville.
