Giants Ahmad Bradshaw feels the best he has “in years.”
Maybe it’s the four-year, $18 million contract he signed earlier this month. Maybe it’s coming off a career-season in which he rushed for 1,235 yards. Maybe it’s an off-season free of OTAs due to the lockout.
“Oh, man, in years. And I feel great,” the Giants running back said. “You know it’s a little bit of everything. I just feel fresh and young again. Like I said, I feel tremendous on my feet.”
Or maybe it’s the new screws the 25 year old had implanted in his feet.
Bradshaw has undergone three surgeries since the end of the 2009 season to implant screws to alleviate pressure and repair ankle issues.
“It just takes a toll. With the screws I have now in my feet make it feel 10 times better,” he said. “The factures were just bad on my feet.”
And now he’s ready to go.
