Denver Broncos linebacker D.J. Williams is in danger of missing the regular-season opener against the Oakland Raiders after the weakside linebacker suffered a dislocated right elbow Saturday night in the Broncos’ preseason game against Seattle.

Williams suffered the injury in the first quarter. He was quickly attended to on the field by medical personnel and then taken to the locker room. After the game, Williams’ right arm was heavily bandaged from wrist to halfway up the biceps.

Williams, the Broncos’ leading tackler the past two seasons, is expected to be sidelined three to four weeks, which means he could miss not only the opener Spet. 12 against the Raiders but Game 2 against Cincinnati on Sept. 18.

Fantasy Impact:

IDP owners counting on Williams will need to find other options early in the season.
