Dolphins WR Brandon Marshall admits his body was never right following offseason hip surgery, which kept him from participating in the team's offseason program.
When watching film from last season Marshall noticed his explosion was missing. He needed it to return to remain special, so he called his old college trainer, Matt Gates, founder of Fit Speed Inc., to help him get it back.
"I'm excited because this is the first offseason I've really had a chance to work on it," Marshall said. "Every since my rookie season I've been rehabbing some kind of injury. This was the first time I actually spent an offseason getting better at something, and it's paid off. Matt Gates did a great job of getting me that speed, that explosion."
