Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said Tuesday morning on his weekly radio show that wide receiver Dez Bryant will continue to return punts this season, but only when it's an important time of the game. For instance, if the Cowboys were down late in a game, you'd likely see Bryant returning the punt.

"We just got to use him judiciously," Jones said. "When it's important enough, in my mind he should be used but it has to be judiciously done."

Bryant bruised his quad on a first-quarter punt return after he got off to a fast start catching the football. He wasn't the same the rest of the game against the New York Jets.

Jones said he'll never forget the impact cornerback Deion Sanders had for the Cowboys returning punts.
