The Carolina Panthers are expected to be in a familiar position Sunday against Green Bay - without starting right tackle Jeff Otah.
Otah, who missed all of last season with a knee injury, is doubtful for the game as he recovers from a concussion he sustained last weekend at Arizona.
Carolina head coach Ron Rivera did not rule Otah out Friday, although undrafted rookie Byron Bell said coaches told him Wednesday he would take Otah's place in the starting lineup.
Green Bay was already a pretty good defense play, and this makes the Packers even better. It's not good news for Cam Newton and the rest of the Carolina offense as the rookie quarterback gears up to make his second start.
