Now down two important elements of their offense, the Chiefs are leaning on players such as Matt Cassel, Dexter McCluster and wide receiver Dwayne Bowe. On Sunday, none was up to the task.

Cassel threw three interceptions and lost a fumble. McCluster led the Chiefs with 51 rushing yards, but for the second straight week he lost a fumble. He also had a net of minus-2 yards on his four pass receptions.

Bowe delivered the Chiefs’ biggest play with a 45-yard pass reception. But in the second quarter, he failed to haul in a pass that was then intercepted by the Lions, ending the Chiefs’ last possession in Detroit’s side of the field.

Fantasy Impact:

McCluster could be an interesting pickup if he can overcome fumbles. He wasn't supposed to be much of a factor in the offense outside of kick returns. But, the fact the team didn't give the ball exclusively to Thomas Jones should make you realize the team probably won't count on him as a full time back.

The way the Chiefs have performed this year, it could be a situation to stay away from anyway. But, keep an eye on McCluster because he clearly has the most potential.
