San Francisco 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh said he "expects" running back Frank Gore to play tomorrow. Gore is listed as "questionable" for the 49ers Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles with a right ankle sprain.

Gore did not seem too confident this week that he'll be healthy enough for his usual workload. It's not even a given that Gore will be available. But, regardless, expect to see reserves Kendall Hunter and Anthony Dixon get plenty of playing time.

How Gore feels during warmups will determine if and how much he plays against the Eagles. Even if Gore is healthy, look for Hunter to get at least as much playing time. And Dixon will probably get a handful of attempts, too.

Fantasy Impact:

San Francisco's backfield looks very messy at the moment. If you have viable alternatives to Gore, it might be better to use them. At a minimum, Hunter has enough value to be worthy of flex consideration in some formats. If Gore doesn't play, Hunter's stock soars.
