The Falcons could be short-handed for their NFC South matchup with Carolina at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Georgia Dome.

Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones (hamstring), safety William Moore (shoulder) and right guard Garrett Reynolds and cornerback Christopher Owens (head/concussion) were all injured in Sunday’s game against Green Bay and will not practice on Wednesday.

“It’s going to be a couple of days before we really know on the guys that were banged up,” Falcons coach Mike Smith said on his weekly radio appearance on NFL Sirius radio. “We’ll definitely be resting those guys on Wednesday and then kind of see where they are on Thursday and Friday.”

Reynolds, who’s started every game this season, returned to the game. Jones, Moore and Owens did not return to the game.
