Last week, Brandon Jacobs hinted he wasn't happy with the amount of work he's been getting. He alluded to it a few times and, frankly, was practically begging he be asked about it.
So he was. And the Giants' running back gave an answer that left plenty unsaid but implied.
"Listen, man, I don’t know the way things go,” he said. “I take what I’m given and I make it the best I can.” He followed that by saying Tom Coughlin's promise to get him more work this season was merely "people talking in the offseason."
Upon being asked about how he's used less because of Ahmad Bradshaw's presence, Jacobs said both backs are starving for carries.
"Well, he’s not being used as much as he can be, either. It’s a very confusing thing," Jacobs said. "I’m just here, doing the best that I can do to help my team. I come out to win; it’s up to them whether or not they want to use me."
