The Cleveland Browns are near the end of their rope with running back Peyton Hillis and are prepared to let him walk in free agency after this season.
At this point, it would take a dramatic turnaround in behavior and production for Hillis to persuade the Browns to re-sign him when he becomes a free agent in March.
Hillis hasn't been the most motivated player in the NFL this year, and this type of speculation means he'll probably have less motivation to get healthy. It's probably still too early for fantasy owners to cut him, but that time is drawing closer. For now, Chris Ogbonnaya is Cleveland's top fantasy back, and Montario Hardesty should remain on your roster if you can wait for him to return.
