Receiver Nate Washington left the field after the first completion on the drive with a hip pointer, that he said caused his entire hip to go numb.
“I landed right on it, and my whole leg just went numb. I don't know what the diagnosis is,” Washington said just before heading to the trainers' room. “I ain't been injured in so long, it's hurting. It's my hip all the way. Nothing but my hip. No knee. I don't know what's wrong with it.”
Washington said he actually had suffered the injury in the first quarter, but continued to play with it until landing on the hip with 1:44 to play after a 4-yard gain.
“I got hit on my hip in the first quarter, and I was pushing through it the whole game and at the end of the game I landed on my hip in the same exact spot. My whole leg just went numb,” Washington.
