49ers running back Frank Gore says he'll be ready to play in Sunday's game against the Giants. Gore sprained his left ankle while gaining 107 yards on 19 carries in the 49ers' 19-11 win in Washington.
Gore needed assistance getting down from the post game riser after speaking to reporters. Gore had a detectable limp but wore no boot Monday in the 49ers' locker room. He also had a clean X-ray.
"I'll be all right," Gore assured. When asked if he'll be able to participate in Wednesday's practice, Gore said, "I think I will be. I feel all right now."
