Texans Gary Kubiak said he doesn’t know if receiver Andre Johnson will be able to play in Sunday’s game against Carolina.

“If I could, I’d have Andre playing in this game,” Kubiak said. “I think he needs to play, but we’re going to be smart with it. We need to get him on the field, though.”

Johnson is nursing an injury to his left hamstring.
