Report: QB John Skelton will start for Cardinals

Arizona Cardinals quarterback John Skelton will start Sunday against the Cleveland Browns. Skelton's backup was expected to be Richard Bartel as Kevin Kolb continues to recover from a concussion.

Kolb had increased his participation in practice late in the week. But the effects left by a knee to the head during a win Sunday against San Francisco will sideline him for at least one game.

Fantasy Impact:

By himself, Skelton doesn't have any value, but his presence hasn't hampered any of Arizona's other players, most notably Larry Fitzgerald.

Per Bears head coach Matt Eberflus: Ryan Bates remains in the concussion protocol. Elijah Hicks (ankle) and D'Andre Swift (groin) won't practice.

Teven Jenkins will be limited.

This is definitely a situation to keep an eye on, as Johnson would have a huge workload if Swift were to miss Week 12. Homer has three rush attempts and zero targets on the year.
