Despite playing poorly during the Buffalo Bills’ current seven-game losing streak, Ryan Fitzpatrick said he was not concerned about the team drafting a quarterback next spring.

“It’s just something I can’t worry about,” Fitzpatrick told reporters Tuesday. “Just like last year I wasn’t worried about them drafting a quarterback. I’ve sat down with (coach) Chan (Gailey), and I’ve talked to (general manager) Buddy (Nix). The thing I can control right now is me playing better. For me, it’s been a process this year. I think I’ve learned a lot and grown a lot. Hopefully these last few games we can end on a good note.”

Maybe Fitzpatrick should be worried. He has not played well since signing a new contract earlier this season, and he was booed at home during Sunday’s loss to the Dolphins.
