Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger (ankle) did not practice Wednesday. The NFL Network's Jason LaCanfora reported that the Steelers will likely rest Roethlisberger but our Steelers scout says that it was news to Big Ben and the other players. At this point, Roethlisberger expects to play. We'll continue to monitor his practice activity throughout the week.

Per Bears head coach Matt Eberflus: Ryan Bates remains in the concussion protocol. Elijah Hicks (ankle) and D'Andre Swift (groin) won't practice.

Teven Jenkins will be limited.
