FoxSports Southwest's Matt Mosley: "If the Giants beat the Jets, Felix Jones will not play a snap vs Eagles. Jets win, he's 50-50."
ESPN Dallas's Bryan Broaddus: "Hearing the same info about Felix Jones playing as @mattmosley is. If NYG win, he will not play. If NYJ win, there is a better shot."
It never made sense that the Cowboys would rush Jones back if the game was meaningless, especially if they faced a must-win game the following week. It sounds as if he's likely to be active (assuming his hammy is good enough to play) and then his workload will be determined based on the outcome of the Jets/Giants game. There's always the chance that he's not healthy enough to play even if Dallas needs the win. Bottom line: Felix Jones is not a worthwhile fantasy play this week, while Sammy Morris looks like a fringe RB2 with considerable risk. He looked good last week, but he's still a 34-year-old who was sitting on his couch two weeks ago. Generally speaking, he has been able to produce when given the opportunity.
