Cleveland Plain Dealer: The injuries continue to mount for the
Browns, along with the losses. The latest was to tight end Steve Heiden, who was carted off the field after the second play of the
second half with injuries to his right knee and right ankle. He
did not return. The extent of the injury was unknown and Heiden
will most likely undergo an MRI today. The injury was especially
costly because tight end Kellen Winslow is sidelined with a high
ankle sprain and could miss the final two games. The injury left
the Browns with two healthy tight ends in Darnell Dinkins and
rookie Martin Rucker. Dinkins began the game by dropping a pass
over the middle near the Eagles 5 in the first quarter.
