DE Abraham nixes holdout talk

Falcons defensive end John Abraham, who is scheduled to make $5 million this season on the heels of a 16 1/2-sack season, does not plan to hold out. Abraham did not fully participate in spring practices, fueling a report on the NFL Network that he was unhappy with his contract and intended to skip part of training camp.

"It's a long offseason and they have to stir the pot," agent Rich Rosa told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. "We don't know where that is coming from. There won't be a holdout. He'll be there when camp opens.

"He's ready to go. He's so happy to be on that team."
