Texans: Expect fierce battle for backup RB

During camp and preseason, the competition for playing time behind running back Steve Slaton should be fierce.
Veterans Chris Brown and Ryan Moats and rookies Arian Foster and Jeremiah Johnson are competing for the backup job as well as a spot on the team. Their performance is going to get a lot of attention before the final cuts are made in September.
Brown is ahead because he has the most experience, but he's been hurt every year he's been in the league, including all of last season. Moats performed well after the Texans signed him last season. Foster has a head start on Johnson because he was able to participate in organized team activities as well as the minicamp. Not surprisingly, Brown looks the best and could be a tremendous addition if he can stay healthy.
