Mikel Leshoure could be the key to the Lions' rushing game. Despite his offseason issues, despite being suspended for the first two games of the season and despite coming off Achilles surgery, Leshoure is the guy who can get the tough yards, who can break off big runs and can make plays with his hands.

If his recovery stays on course, he's the primary back the Lions have been missing. Jahvid Best, if he can put his concussion issues behind him, can finally play the Reggie Bush, Darren Sproles-type role the Lions always envisioned for him.

Don't sleep on Kevin Smith, either. Nobody ever questioned his talent and he's worked his tail off to get his career back. The football gods owe him at least one season of clean health, right?

Fantasy Impact: 

That pretty much sums up the Lions' RBBC heading into the 2012 season. Best has been running with the first team and holds value as long as he's upright. But his concussion history is worrisome.
