The Eagles got a scare Thursday night when QB Michael Vick injured his left thumb.
Some good news came through after Vick left the game and was replaced by Nick Foles -- according to the Eagles, the X-ray on Vick's left thumb was negative.
Andy Reid said following the game that Vick suffered a thumb contusion after hitting a nerve on his thumb, but was "fine" by the end of the preseason game.
"By the end of the game, he was fine," Reid said after the game. "He could grip the ball."
Fantasy Impact:
It sounds as if the Eagles dodged a bullet, though this should serve as a reminder of Vick's injury history.
