Steelers expect Mike Wallace to report soon

The Steelers expect that Mike Wallace will arrive back in Pittsburgh this weekend and sign his one-year contract after they return from their third preseason game in Buffalo, multiple sources told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

Fantasy Impact:

If true, this s great news for Wallace and Ben Roethlisberger owners alike. He will only have a couple of weeks to learn a new offense, but OC Todd Haley has reportedly simplified things for the wide receiver position.

Eagles ruled out WR DeVonta Smith (hamstring) for Sunday against the Rams.

It's a bit of a crapshoot as to who the "WR2" on the offense will be, but now that he's ruled out, Brown and Goedert should get a nice boost to their bottom line. That would lock Goedert into a no-doubt TE1 role in Week 12.
