If the Jets are going to get back to their ground-and-p...

If the Jets are going to get back to their ground-and-pound attack, Shonn Greene will have to play at his best. Rex Ryan said he’s pleased with how the fourth-year running back has looked lately. Green had 11 carries for 36 yards last week against the Giants.

“I thought Shonn ran the ball really well (against the Giants),” said Ryan. “I love the way he saw that vision... you saw him squaring those pads up and he was running through. He was feeling it, there was no question.”

“If it was up to Shonn, he would have carried it 30 times," Ryan added. "I saw him kind of in that groove, so I feel really good about where Shonn is now.”

Fantasy Impact:

Like Michael Turner, there are those who would like to write Greene off because he's not a very dynamic runner. However he is slated for 250+ carries and will provide good value in the 5th/6th round with that workload.
