On a Colt roster that is thin at wide receiver, and on a team that's trying to groom a promising young quarterback, WR Reggie Wayne has become something of a comforting blanket. When things break down, it's natural for quarterback Andrew Luck to look to him.
He provided that comfort during a 41-21 loss to the Chicago Bears, catching nine passes for 135 yards.
Fantasy Impact:
All offseason, the team had been lining Wayne up in different spots, trying to create mismatches and get him open for the young Luck. With the Colts likely playing from behind a lot this season, good numbers could be the norm for Wayne and is someone to at least consider playing in a flex role.
