Titans plan to use Kenny Britt on 15–25 snaps

“We have a lot of weapons as it is, but Kenny’s a difference-maker,” Titans QB Jake Locker said. “When he’s at his best, he’s one of the best in the league. He’s big, physical, a vertical threat, just a guy that can do a lot of different things. He breaks tackles, makes guys miss and can take short, easy throws into long, explosive plays.

“… I’m not really worried about not being on the same page with him. We’ll have the opportunity to work together this week and get familiar with each other.”

Coach Mike Munchak said he expects Britt to play 15-25 snaps on Sunday against the Chargers. There will be no rush to load him with responsibilities in his first game since Sept. 25, 2011.

“We’ll probably keep it simple for Kenny, especially early, so we’re not having him do too much or having him move around too much,” Munchak said. “With Kenny’s size and what he can do, I think there’s something hopefully that can come on pretty quickly.”

Fantasy Impact:

The question is whether or not Britt can make a fantasy impact in those snaps. In three career games where Britt was returning from some sort of injury, he has been quiet. He caught one pass for 7 yards in Week 8 of 2009, he caught five passes for 41 yards in Week 2 of 2010 and caught four passes for 39 yards in Week 14 of the same year. Use him with caution.
