Browns WR Josh Gordon, who started two games in three-receiver sets, feels ready for more if needed.
"I don't feel as though there's anything holding me back," he said. "[I'm] waiting for my number to be called. Right now, it just hasn't happened yet."
Gordon isn't certain why he hasn't been called on in the red zone, where the Browns have scored two TDs in six trips. "Maybe the coaches need some more confidence in me," he said. "They have plays designed for me and I feel going into the next week and future games, we'll see a lot more of it."
Shurmur sounded ready Monday to increase Gordon's workload. "I think he'll find a way to be productive here in a way that we expect soon," he said.
