The Titans are in desperate need of playmakers. Wide receiver Kenny Britt, who has been mostly quiet this season, is hoping he can become one soon.
“Today I felt the most confident I have in this whole year and this whole season to tell you the truth,” Britt said Tuesday. “With my eyes, finding the ball when Matt (Hasselbeck) was throwing it, especially coming over the big linemen. So I’m definitely getting back to where I was last year.”
Britt played 27 snaps in Sunday’s 30-7 loss to the Vikings, but he had just two catches for 23 yards. In three games this season, Britt has nine catches for 83 yards. He missed the season opener because of an NFL suspension and missed the Sept. 30 game at Houston because of an ankle injury.
Britt is a risk to put into your lineup until we see more. Unfortunately, that likely means missing out on a break-out game. Owners who took a shot on Britt hoped for more by now but it sounds like he's still worth keeping around on your roster if you can afford to.
