One of the most impressive aspects of the Cowboys' offense during their 31-29 loss to the Ravens was the ease with which running backs DeMarco Murray and Felix Jones cut through the Baltimore defense, combining for 185 yards and a touchdown on 32 carries.
But Murray had to leave the game with a foot injury, and now CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora reports that he sustained an apparent foot sprain.
According to La Canfora, the X-rays were negative and an MRI is scheduled for Monday to assess the severity of the injury.
Murray gained 93 yards on 14 carries.
Jones picked up the slack filling in in his former role of lead back. We'll hopefully know more about Murray's injury later today, but Jones appears to be a good pickup if you're a Murray owner, especially considering the 'Boys are at Carolina next week in what will be a good matchup for whomever gets the start.
