Since leading the NFL in receiving, Dolphins WR Brian Hartline has totaled four receptions for 59 yards in two games. He was shutout last week against St. Louis.
When Hartline, now fifth in the NFL in receiving yards at 514, takes the field after the bye week he'll likely be locked one-on-one with New York Jets cornerback Antonio Cromartie. He was largely the reason Hartline had one reception for nine yards when the teams met earlier this season, a 23-20 Jets overtime victory.
It was a similar result against Cincinnati two weeks ago and St. Louis last week.
"Going into the [Rams] game we were planning on getting him the ball," QB Ryan Tannehill said, "and it wasn't like they were taking him out of the game. For whatever reason we didn't get him the ball enough."
