Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick has left Sunday's game against the Dallas Cowboys with what the team is calling an eye injury. The team also announced that Vick was being evaluated for a concussion.
Vick was hit hard on a third-down play on the Eagles' first drive of the second quarter and went to the locker room during the ensuing Cowboys possession.
Nick Foles completed 18-of-27 passes for one TD and one INT in Vick's place. After the game, Reid said Vick is still his starter if he's healthy, however, Vick will have to go through the normal testing in order to get back on the field. The Eagles get the Redskins this week in what would be a pretty good matchup for either QB. Keep in mind Foles is a rookie and while his overall numbers were solid against Dallas, he lacked pocket presence and threw up some balls that otherwise shouldn't have even been attempted. He'll make his share of mistakes if he gets the start, so turnovers could be an issue if you get negative points.
