Giants RB Ahmad Bradshaw left in the first quarter to have his left knee evaluated in the locker room. He returned in the second half, but didn’t carry his usual rushing load. Bradshaw had just 11 carries for 33 yards, and rookie David Wilson carried the ball 13 times for 100 yards.
“I’m sure he is going to be sore as he always is, but he was able to go back in,” head coach Tom Coughlin said of Bradshaw, who has also been playing on a badly bruised foot.
Bradshaw will go through a series of tests on his knee, including an MRI. David Wilson is a top waiver add this week if he's available in your league. It looks like he is officially out of the doghouse as he showed his potential against the Saints. Even if the banged up Bradshaw goes this week, the Giants will likely find plenty of touches for Wilson, too. The Atlanta run defense can struggle at times so the matchup isn't a bad one for Giant RBs.
