The Giants have not changed RB Ahmad Bradshaw's status for Sunday, but he missed a second straight practice Thursday and seems unlikely to play against Atlanta. OC Kevin Gilbride said the Giants would lose an emotional leader and a lot of toughness without him on the field. Bradshaw, however, holds out hope of playing. "You listen to him, he's not sure it's lost," Gilbride said. "But we'll see."
The New York Daily News added this: Tom Coughlin refused to rule anything out on Wednesday, and there is still one more day of practice this week, but Bradshaw wasn't even in the fieldhouse when the Giants began practicing on Thursday. He's missed the last two days due to his sprained left knee, and it is believed that rookie David Wilson will end up starting in his place against the Falcons.
David Wilson would be a nice start if Bradshaw is out. The Falcons are #23 in RB aFPA, so the matchup is pretty good. He'd be in store for a big workload with Kregg Lumpkin as his backup.
