Even though the Jaguars held the line on Jaguars RB Maurice Jones-Drew and refused to give him an extension, he said he feels no ill will and would like to return next year. He is scheduled to make $4.95 million in the final year of the five-year $31.5 million deal he signed in 2009.

He said he won’t go to the Jags about an extension.

“It’s not really up to us, it’s up to them,” he said. “They have to come to us. Obviously, we tried to come to them this offseason and it didn’t work out so it’s up to them.’’
