Vikings running back Adrian Peterson missed practice time in the days preceding Sunday’s win over the Texans with a groin/abdomen injury. After the game, coach Leslie Frazier said that Peterson was held out of the game late because of an abdomen problem.
But Frazier was unequivocal in his comments to Peter King of Sports Illustrated, who reported during Football Night in America that Frazier said Peterson absolutely will play next Sunday against the Packers.
Fantasy Impact:
Peterson needs 208 rushing yards to set the single-season rushing record. Last time he played the Packers, he racked up 210 yards in Green Bay.
