Rob Gronkowski (arm) could be cleared soon

Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski says that he should be cleared to play in the next couple of weeks:

“I’m doing a lot better, definitely. Feeling a lot better. My arm is feeling way better than it was during the playoffs and regular season when I broke it,” Gronkowski said on the Mike & Mike program on ESPN Radio.

“Right now, just rehabbing, getting the muscle stronger around it. You want to get everything activated, re-activated, because it shuts down for a little bit when it’s healing. Just rehabbing, and when my trainers give me the ‘good to go’, hopefully in the next couple weeks, hopefully as soon as possible ... I can get rolling again and get back in the weight room and get back on the field and do what I love doing – running around and catching some balls.”

Fantasy Impact:

Gronk's numbers slipped a bit (from 15.1 PPG in 2011 to 13.0 in 2012), but he was still far and away the top TE on a per game basis. From a pure value standpoint, when we project his stats for a full season, he's going to hold 1st or 2nd round value. Here's the question that fantasy owners have to ask themselves: Is he injury-prone or has he just had a run of bad luck? Because if it's the latter and Gronk puts in a full season, he's going to put up 1st round numbers.
