Running back Arian Foster will miss the rest of the Houston Texans' organized team activities and the team's minicamp due to his strained right calf, coach Gary Kubiak said Wednesday.
Kubiak said Foster was on crutches Wednesday, one day after he suffered the injury on the first play of team drills during Tuesday's voluntary practice.
"He'll stay on crutches a couple of days, rehab, and we'll have him back for camp. He's going to be fine," Kubiak told reporters on Wednesday.
We're not panicking about this injury. It's just a reminder that Foster has racked up 1,115 touches in the last three seasons. He turns 27 this August and is still very much in his prime, but these bumps and bruises may be more common as he continues his career.
