The original hope was that Bills TE Scott Chandler would be full go for the start of the regular season in September, but his remarkable recovery from ACL surgery has him a month ahead of schedule. He’ll be set for the start of training camp. His only concern is being properly conditioned for the speed at which the offense is going to operate.

“My guess I’m not just going to go in there all the way,” Chandler told Buffalobills.com of his participation in camp practices. ”I’m just worried about getting my lungs in shape and my legs. That’s what this next month and a half is for. It’s not vacation. It’s nothing like that. I’m going to be working just as hard as I have been and I’m going to be ready to go.”

Fantasy Impact:

Chandler said the only possible restriction is he’ll be given a rest day every three or four practices as a precaution. We rank Chandler just 27th among our TEs. He was a red zone target when QB Ryan Fitzpatrick was at the helm, but it will remain to be seen if that will continue. Right now, he's just a low-end TE2 option.
